'I missed you Yunnie-ah...'
Yunho couldn't believe it. One minute he was crying and wishing his life away in exchange for Jae's and the next he was right in front of his eyes, all in flesh and blood. For him to touch, to hold, to caress, to hug and to never let go again.
In an instant, he leap off of the bed and pulled Jaejoong into his arms. Burying his head into the crook of the latters neck, inhaling the scent that he had missed for, what seemed like, an eternity. He was too lost in the moment that he had failed to see the confused and bewildered looks planted onto the others handsome faces. Even if he did, he wouldn't have given a damn about them. All he cared for was the toffee colored haired man who was now enveloped in a tight embrace.
He squeezed his eyes shut, eagerly praying that this was not a cruel dream and that this was reality. That he was really hugging Jaejoong right now, that it really was his lover's hair that tickled his cheek, that it was really Jae's scent that was intoxicating his lungs, filling the lost space in them, that it really was the pale, delicate skin under the layers of clothing, and that the heartbeat that he could feel against his chest was real and that it was not some cruel joke that reality played on him.
"I missed you Jae..." He murmuredly muffled out. "...So much..."
His arms tightened even more around the lithe body, afraid that any second now, Jaejoong would dissappear and dissolve into nothingness. Leaving his arms cold and empty once more. But to his anticipation, he felt Jae's arms wriggle their way out of his embrace and slowly snake themselves around his back. Smilling to himself, he waited for the arms to tighten themselves around his still aching and cold body and envelop him to a tight, warm hug. But to his dissapointment, he felt a friendly tap on his back, as if to say that everything was now alright and good. It felt too friendly, he was sure there was some sort of hesitation in it.
"I....Y-You can let go now..." Jaejoong shakily replies.
His eyebrows furrowed together in confusion and hurt.
'Why would Jae say that?'
Hesitantly pulling his head back from its comfortable position, he looked at Jaejoong with concerned eyes. He wasn't so sure to what exactly he should say. Scared that muttering a word would break the magic, he decided to stutter his name out.
"J-Jae - "
Only to be cut off by an overly high tone whimper coming from Junsu,
"Hyyyyuuuuuuuuuuung!! How come Jaejoong-hyung gets a big hug like that!?!?!?!?"
Blinking, he tore his gaze off of Jae's face and turned around to the currently sulking Junsu behind him.
"Sorry Su.." He replied. "I just missed Jae..."
Scrunching his face into a cute little pout, Junsu cocked his head to the side and looked at him.
"What? You miss Jaejoong-hyung?" Junsu asked. "Don't you remember anything...?"
Something deep within him stirred, alarming him that something was going and that something wasn't right. Again, he begged to God that this wasn't some sort of dream and that it wasn't some sick joke. Hoplessly begging.
Gulping down the lump that somehow lodged its way in his throat, he tried his hardest to shake off the feeling and tried to ask Junsu with a strong voice, only to fail miserably as it cracked even before he could mutter out a word.
"R-Remember w-what .... S-Su?"
Junsu's eyebrows furrowed, as if it telling him indirectly that he wasn't remembering something that he really should.
"Don't you remember hyung? Jaejoong-hyung and - "
"Su. Not right now."
Yoochun's deep and mellow voice suddenly appeared out of thin air. Yunho turned to him and gave him a questioning look.
"But Yoochun-ah - "
"Yunho-hyung just recovered, don't you think it's way too early to tell him things like that?" Yoochun forcibly asks.
Junsu, on the other hand, didn't have the enough courage to reply back and remained silent.
"Yoochun - "
Yoochun turned towards him and smiled. A smile that could've fooled others but not him. No, there was something along Yoochun's smile that tugged darkly at its corners.
"It's really nothing hyung," He replied calmly. "Just about business."
Somehow, there was something along those lines that didn't sound right.
Yoochun looked away from him and turned his gaze over at Jaejoong who was still standing behind him silently. Some sort of warmth crept over Yoochun's eyes as his eyes landed on Jae's form.
"Jaejoong-ah, everything alright?"
There was a stretch of silence.
Then,
"I'm fine..." Jaejoong shakily replies.
Yoochun smiles and takes gentle steps towards the light-haired man, brushing past Yunho as if his eyes were only seeing one person and that person alone.
"You sure?"
"Yeah..." Jaejoong raised his head, smilling. "Of course."
Yoochun smiled back and put his arms around the latters body, enveloping Jae once into another tight, loving hug. But this time, Yunho swore he saw Yoochun plant a chaste kiss upon the pale cheek of Jae.
He swore he did.
